This is a repaint of Jan Visser's wonderful DC3 which was repainted by Mark Beaumont into a "Bare Metal" scheme for DC3 Airways. I have repainted it into the TWA livery from photographs. In the 1930s-40s TWA was "Transcontinental & Western Air". In 1950 TWA was renamed Trans World Airline.

Use the "L" key to close the entrance door and turn on the lights.

Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, includes transparent cabin windows, nightlighting and a 3D interior. It has a folding stair door. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound. Thanks to Jan Visser, Paul Pridmore and Mark Beaumont for their permission for me to repaint their work.

Install: Just extract using "Use folder names" and everything should be in correct folders. Then just place in Aircraft folder of FS2002.

Panel and sound:
This alias's the default Microsoft's FS C182 panel and sound. You will want to get a new panel and sound to match this great Jan Visser aircraft. I recommend using one from the DC3 Airways virtual airline website www.dc3airways.com/ , or the MAAM R4D-6 from the Mid Atlantic Air Museum http://www.maam.org/ .

This aircraft:
This is N14931, DC3-209B Douglas manufacturer serial number 2118, was operated by Trans World Airline as Fleet number 379, April 1939 to February 1952.

Be sure to visit DC-3 Airways virtual airline at www.dc3airways.com/ then "Routes" then "TWA Schedule" and download my TWA 1935 USA complete transcontinental route schedule with 112 flights ready for FS2000-2002-2004 flying!
